Dr. Grace Lalana Christopher, President & Founder CEO, ‘New Gen Parenting’ is a qualified Pediatrician having graduated for both under and post-graduation from the esteemed institute of Christian Medical College & Hospital Vellore, India. She is also a mother of two, with ‘hands on’ experience in parenting, with a wealth of specialized knowledge concerning the healthy growth and development of children of all ages and authored several books covering all aspects of ‘New Gen Parenting’ to meet the requirements
of the modern children aimed at specific developmental age groups right from the time of birth up to adolescence to young adulthood. The present scenario and fast moving pace of life gives parents the advantage of knowing the scientific basis and right approach in parenting techniques and child rearing methods thus doing the right thing the first time around, making the task of parenting pleasure. These ‘Happy, Healthy Child’ books covers all aspects of child rearing and should be read by all parents, teachers and those involved in the care of children of all ages.
Her latest publication includes a book of over 80 poems and quotes on lifestyle goals titled “Life Style Goals Book of Poetry and Paintings” with nuggets of information for all ages to lead healthier, happy lives lifting one to higher grounds to being better humans. After publishing several original, cutting edge research papers that will change the approach to newborn care. Other medical books authored include ‘Recent Advances in Perinatology with Special Reference for Ethnicity’ published for the first time in the world perinatal definitions for ethnic Asian population comprising over 7 billion of the world’s population of 8 billion, India being the most populous country in the world can set guidelines for the wellbeing of the small vulnerable Asian newborns. She invented a new way to resuscitate newborns during her clinical practice in 2016 by Sustained Nasal Oxygen Inflation (SNOI) to physiologically facilitate first breath through a wide bore oxygen tube directed towards the baby’s nose scientifically proven to exert Peak End Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) backed by several evidence based revised Cochrane risk-of bias tool. Oxygen is the only therapy for hypoxia attained by high-flow nasal oxygen and in 2019 published” Lalana Newborn Resuscitation (LNR) the safest, simple, non- invasive delivery system.
